• Banned Books 

  • Ex. Heartstopper and other books by Alice Oseman in multiple states.

  • Solitaire by Alice Oseman is banned in Elkhorn Area School District in Wisconsin.

  • Bring any LGBTQ+ books or banned books you own!

  • Here's a link to a list of banned books in the 50 states, you can filter it to see only Wisconsin school districts.

• Movie and TV Show Discussions

  • We are doing a movie night and will likely have a discussion!

  • We have had discussions about Heartstopper by Alice Oseman!

• Pride Bracelets and Crafts!

  • We made bracelets at our third GSA meeting and we are planning on doing more crafts!

• Pride Chalk!

  • Draw pride flags with chalk outside in the spring!

• Trivia Games

  • It's a fun and good way to learn about LGBTQ+ history and work together!

• Movie night

  • We are planning on watching Love, Simon on December 11th! Come to the Library with us after school and watch with us! We'll have a discussion at the meeting after.
