These are the guidelines for submitting a writing piece to the group for critiquing.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact the group leader.
Submissions must be in a Microsoft Word Document. (If this is a problem, please contact the group leader. She may be able to work with you.)
Font should be 12pt Times New Roman
Piece should be Double Spaced
The maximum number of pages is 10. (If you need to run a little over in order to finish a paragraph or thought that's fine.)
Submission must have page numbers.
The author's name and title should appear in the header.
The file name should include the author's initials, title of the piece, and the date (month & year) of submission Ex: John Smith has the first chapter a book that he's submitting call "Ambiguous" that he's submitting for Nov. meeting. JS Chapter 1 Ambiguous 11-2025
If the submission is part of a larger piece, (ex: chapters in a novel or a sequel to a previous story) please include a short recap at the beginning of the piece (it doesn't count toward the 10 page limit) as well a character guide as a reminder for everyone.
*We are open to any genre of fiction and any topic, however anything that might be triggering must be reviewed and approved by the group leader. If in doubt, it's better to ask.
