Dr. Lars Ehm

Lars Ehm is an Associate Professor at the Department of Geosciences at Stony Brook University, member of the Mineral Physics Institute at Stony Brook and holds a joint appointment with the National Synchrotron Light Source II at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He obtained his Doctoral degree in Natural Sciences in 2003 from Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, in Germany under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Wulf Depmeier, Prof. Dr. Björn Winkler and Dr. Karsten Knorr. Prior to joining the faculty at Department of Geosciences at Stony Brook University, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Geophysical Laboratory of the Carnegie Institution of Washington (2003-2005) and a Postdoctoral Associate at the Mineral Physics Institute at Stony Brook University (2005-2007).

Madison Anae

Madison Anae is a PhD student in the Department of Geosciences at Stony Brook University. She recieved her Bachelor's in Geosciences from the University of Iowa in 2021. Madison is intersted in Mineralogy and Mineral Physics. Currently, she investigates the interplay of atomic and mesostructure in high pressure and temperture phase transitions in rock-forming Minerals.

Prashani Ulapane

Prashani Ulapane is a PhD student in the Department of Geosciences at Stony Brook University. She revceived her Bachelor's in Geology from University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. Prashani is intersted in planetray Mineralogy and Geochemistry. She explores the structure, properties and stabilities of amorphous soild compounds, relevant for the modern water cycle on Mars, at the extreme environmental conditions of the martian surface.
