Welcome to the Boon Group!

We are a multidisciplinary group working at the interface of chemistry and biology in the Department of Chemistry and the Institute of Chemical Biology & Drug Discovery at Stony Brook University on Long Island in NY. We employ tools and methodology from enzymology, structural biology, bioinformatics, microbiology, genetics, and biomolecular imaging to investigate important questions affecting human health and welfare, always with a focus on the molecular-level details.
