Visibility is about how far a person can see. High-level of PM can decrease visibility significantly. Low visibility is one of the meteorological factors which has a significant effect on flight safety and air traffic control, causing frequent delays and cancellations. It also makes it dangerous for ground traffics as well, for it can increase the rates of accidents because of decreased visibility.
