The Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, founded in 1985, is a multi-purpose facility which offers a variety of social, educational, health and human services programs with an emphasis on community spirit.
The mission of the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center is to be the resource for basic needs for people experiencing financial hardship; and services for seniors in need of socialization and transportation for those living in Mystic, Pawcatuck, Stonington, North Stonington and Westerly.
The PNC accepts in-kind donations (food, clothing, personal hygiene products) during our operating hours. We accept monetary donations via check or credit card. You can donate anytime via our donate now link at the top of this page. If you shop through Amazon, you can select the PNC as your charitable organization when you shop through the AmazonSmile program. Stonington Human Services
Stonington Human Services offer a variety of programs for families. Quite often families do not realize they are eligible to participate in local and state programs.
A Message from the Director of Stonington Human Services regarding counseling services 3/23/2020:
The Town suspended all in-person services as of March 16th. We will revisit the situation after the 2 week period has passed and go from there. We are conducting social services appointments remotely, but not offering the same for mental health services at this time based on the sensitivity of the work.
Although our doors are closed we remain functional with our receptionist checking voicemails on the hour (M-F, 8:30-4) and triaging messages to various staff. Please do not hesitate to reach out with further questions or concerns.
