Our Code of Conduct
Stonewall Sports Providence is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful community where everyone can participate, connect, and have fun. Our Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect from all players, volunteers, board members, and community members participating in Stonewall Sports Providence activities.
We believe everyone has a role in fostering an environment where people feel safe, respected, and included. Please take a moment to review our Code of Conduct and familiarize yourself with the expectations for participating in our league and community.
If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, unfair treatment, or another violation of our Code of Conduct, we encourage you to report it. All concerns are taken seriously and will be handled with care and respect.
Stonewall Sports Providence is dedicated to building an inclusive, community-focused home for LGBTQIA+ recreational sports in Rhode Island. We believe sports are for everyone, no matter your experience, ability, or skill level. We’re here to create a safe, welcoming space where our community can play, connect, and belong.
As a brand-new chapter, we’re drawing on the diversity and energy of the greater Rhode Island area to build something led by this community, for this community. That includes making sure financial circumstances aren’t a barrier to participation.
Our Fee Waiver Program is available to individuals who may not be able to participate because of the cost of registration. The program is designed to help ensure that everyone has an equitable opportunity to participate in Stonewall Sports Providence, regardless of their financial means.
All fee waiver requests are kept confidential and will only be accessed by those responsible for reviewing and administering the program. For further information or questions, please reach out to Jacob Clifton (double first name) at jacobclifton.albritton@stonewallsports.org.
