ABOUT US

Stonewall Sports Boston was founded in 2017 as a local chapter of Stonewall Sports, Inc with a single Billiards league. Since its inception, our chapter has grown to offer six different sports and countless social opportunities that serve over 2000 players. 

We believe every Bostonian, regardless of athletic ability or previous experience with leagues, should have the ability to feel comfortable playing organized sports. Our league aims to create a community and strive for friendly and fun competition. We also believe that we have an additional responsibility to give back to the LGBTQ+ community and local Boston organizations in the form of outreach and support.

Taking our namesake from the 1969 riots at the Stonewall Inn in New York City, our goal is to create community through sports, service, and social events hosted throughout the Boston area. We honor the legacy of this historic event by being loud and proud and by giving back to our community.
