High strength
High resistance to deformation
High durability against water saturation and freeze-thaw cycles
Elastic modulus is equal to or more than 12000 MPa
It is compatible with a wide spectrum of locally available mineral material such as stone crushing waste, weak stone materials, gravel-crushed stone-sand mixes, various types of soils, mining and metallurgical industry waste, construction material crushing waste.
Just after compaction of the “ANT” Stone Road, monolithic stone slab can carry the loads of all traffic including freight traffic.
Stone Road doesn’t require any care or restriction on movement of the traffic.
Traffic can start moving over Stone Road after compaction.
So, traffic can be allowed on one half of the road while work is done in another half.
And within 2 to 8 hours of compaction traffic can be shifted to the compacted layer and work can be taken up in remaining half
Minimal or no curing is needed after final compaction of “ANT” Stone Roads.
This is very beneficial is remote areas as arranging water for curing from far-off sources of water becomes very expensive as well as time consuming at such places.
The cost of road construction is drastically reduced
This reduction occurs due to: -
use of locally available low-cost mineral materials.
reduction of thickness of road pavement.
reduction of volumes of materials to be handled
reduction of the time of construction works
Cost of construction gets reduced by more than 30% as compared to the conventional technologies
