BOOK WEEK
This is one of our favourite weeks of the school year. There are book sellers at school and the children are involved in many additional activities and we all dress up on Friday! The primary students are busy all week celebrating Book Week! There are several programmes packed with fun experiences for our little readers that include, Drop Everything And Read, Extreme Reading, Buddy Reading, Mystery Reader, Book Nook, We Are Going on a Book Hunt, Book Quiz, Decorating the Door, Book Swap, Author Visits and Read to the Head.

Different authors visit Stonehill each year when we celebrate World Book Day. We celebrate Book Character Day as well and we encourage all SIS students and adults to come to school dressed up in a book character.
