Mrs. Hutchens' Counseling Corner
Welcome!
I am Jessica Hutchens the school counselor at Sandy Ridge Elementary. I'm excited to be a part of the Bulldog family and have enjoyed getting to know each and every student. I have the privilege of working with our students through whole group instruction, small group counseling/lunch bunch, and in an individual setting. I have the opportunity to work with staff, families, and the community to make sure that our students and families are supported.

Education:
I earned a B.S. degree in Elementary Education at Longwood University and had the opportunity to teach in an elementary setting. I am furthering my education with a M.Ed. in School Counseling at Liberty University.
Family:
I am so blessed to have two wonderful kiddos and a supporting husband. In our free time we enjoy the beach, hiking, swimming, and fishing.
Favorite things:
Cream with a little coffee, anything chocolate, crafting with clay, painting, gardening.
