Mission: To support the quality of 21st century skills, collaboration, and refinement of student led projects across disciplines, The Chavez Interdisciplinary Learning Collective (ILC) supports multimedia students in the production, revision, and development of screenplays into short films. The goal of the process is to have students showcase their creative visions and developing talent through projects in community film festivals, like the Delta Film Festival, so that communities can celebrate the visions of our young creatives.

At Chavez, the yearbook is more than just a book—it’s a student-driven chronicle of the year, filled with creativity, passion, and storytelling.
Our team captures the essence of campus life through digital photography, thoughtful design, and journalistic storytelling, crafting a dynamic 200-page historical record that reflects the diverse experiences of our students. Beyond the yearbook, we enhance our school’s digital media presence by sharing photos on the school website and producing an annual athletics awards slideshow to honor high-achieving athletes. Through these projects, our program fosters student-led creativity and ownership, ensuring every moment is remembered and every story is told.

We are also involved with community programs including Kohl Education Foundation building project donations as well as a summer paid internship program with Stockton Civic Theatre where we design and help build the set for the summer camp theatre program.
