The poem in Wilma Rudolph

Wilma Rudolph

focus, fast, goes on life forward

husband of Willie Ward, (mother of four kids)

love being confident, strong, believing

stands up for believing in winning

struggles with polio and a scarlet fever

feared that she will fall many times in the Olympics

being the first woman American to win 3 medals in the same Olympics

who wanted to believe that she would be the first fasted American in the world
