Sandra Day O'Connor was born in El Paso, Texas on March 26, 1930. Sandra grew up becoming a helpful child, she could fix whatever was broken, while enjoying life on the ranch. Even not having much resources Sandra was a happy kid. At the age of four Sandra learned how to read. In 1946 she graduated from Standford. Four years after graduating from high school, at the age of 20 she got a bachelor's degree in economics, from Stanford. Two years after she got a law degree from Stanford, and got married with John Jay O'connor III. In 1981 Sandra became the first women working at the Supreme Court. In 2006 Sandra retire from the supreme court to take care of her husband. In december first 2023 Sandra Day O'connor died at the age of 93.
One of Sandra Day O'connor's acomplishments was her job, she got to be the first woman working in the supreme court. She was also the first woman to have her name on a law school. The president Obama gave her an award for Highest civilian Honor, The Presidential Medal of Freedom. She also got the National Women History
