1: Colorado is home to the "Four Corners" which means that four state borders meet in the corner of Colorado. Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah are the four states.
2: The very first rodeo was in Deer Trail, Colorado on July 4th, 1869.
3: Colorado is called the Centennial State because it was admitted to the union 100 years after the Declaration of Independence was signed.
My Connections:
I liked learning about this state because of the Four Corners fun fact and the famous people. The most interesting fact I learned is why Colorado is called the Centennial State and I want to visit Colorado because of the scenery.
