Wilma Rudolph
Wilma Rudolph was born Jun 23,1940 in Clarksville, Tennessee and grew up there.
She sadly passed away on November 12, 1994 at the age of 54 in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Wilma Rudolph has broke 3 world records, won 3 gold medals, won 1 bronze, and at one point was named the fastest woman in the world
Wilma Rudolph was the 20th child out of 22 children in her family and when she was a kid she had 3 sicknesses. She had and sickness called polio, she caught scarlet fever, and had double pneumonia which caused her left leg to become paralyzed. She had a hard childhood
In 1957, Wilma Rudolph went to college at TSU and got a B.A. in education.
When Wilma Rudolph was older she retired and became an educator for sports and was the vice president for the Nashville baptist hostpital
