Welcome to the 6th Annual SRI & ETTC Middle & High School Social Studies Conference. We are excited to host the 2020 conference at Stockton University’s Atlantic City Campus. This year’s theme, “Engaging & Empowering Students,” focuses on the importance of student participation in classroom learning, community involvement, and civics education. Brian Brady of the Mikva Challenge is this year’s keynote speaker. In addition to our 2020 theme, an agenda with relevant topics for middle and high school social studies teachers will be offered. Strands will be available for a variety of social studies disciplines. The integration of technology, use of primary sources, and strategies for effective social studies teaching will be included. The conference is a great way to connect and network with social studies colleagues throughout the area.
