The Lemonade War: Last week, the 4th Graders finished up their novel study, The Lemonade War, by Jaqueline Davies. In this novel study, the students expanded their vocabulary knowledge, strengthened their comprehension skills, and continued building their literary skills. To celebrate their hard work, the learners split into four teams to complete a ‘class lemonade war’. Within the last few days, we assigned each group member a role, listed the materials we needed, and measured what each team believed was needed to create the best batch of lemonade.
