Mrs. Reedy

I’m excited to be teaching 6th grade writing and 8th grade religion. Previously I taught 7th grade writing within HISD, where the student body was very diverse in instructional needs. There I gained valuable skills to help both talented writers and those who are reluctant. I completed my degree at University of Houston-Downtown, where I was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Professional Writing. My husband, Patrick, and I, along with our daughter, live in the Meyerland area, and we are proud to call St. Thomas More Catholic Church our parish home. For our 6th grade writers I am looking forward to teaching engaging lessons that are focused and continue to build on the foundations of faith.

In eighth grade we are going to be undertaking the exciting journey of learning the history of the Church. Our young people today are facing many challenges. Understanding the history of the Church will give them a wonderful perspective on their place in the world today, and how to best navigate that terrain. It’s going to be a wonderful year!

Should you need anything, please do not hesitate to contact me.

In Christ,
