Introduction

I’m excited to be teaching 6^th grade English Language Arts and 8^th grade Religion at St. Thomas More Parish School. I completed my degree at University of Houston-Downtown where I was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Professional Writing. My husband, Patrick and I, along with our daughter live in the Meyerland area and we are proud to call St. Thomas More Catholic Church our parish home.

For our 6^th grade writers I am looking forward to teaching engaging lessons that are focused and continue to build on the foundations of faith. In eighth grade we are going to be undertaking the exciting journey of learning the history of the Church.

Our young people today are facing many challenges. Integrating class lessons with Biblical principals will give them a wonderful perspective on their place in the world today and prepare them for their future. It’s going to be a wonderful year!
