Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather each day! Also remember to pack a healthy snack and something that is easy for them to open :)
For snack, we ask that it is nut free.
In phonics we will focus on handwriting letters and the sounds they make.
Student Objective:
I can read, write, and produce the sound for the letter __________.
This time will change depending on specials schedule as well as what special we have that day.
Students may buy or pack a lunch. They can also purchase a drink if they are a packer. Days where students MUST pack a lunch due to field trips or other events, will be posted and notified ahead of time.
Children should follow recess rules and again, make sure they are dressed for the weather! :)
Students can bring in small toys for recess, however they are responsible for them, and must be willing to share. Anything they bring to school must also come home with them! They cannot bring in toys to give or trade with other students.
During quiet time, the children are to be quiet and rest if they wish. If the student does not want to rest, they may work quietly in their "fun journals".
This is also an independent work time to work on any unfinished work.
We will have multipe wristers workshop units throughout the year. We will begin with a drawing unit.
This is a small group time used to differietaate student learning.
Allows students to explore and learn through play.
Students will learn responsibility of collecting mail from their mailbox and putting it in their home folder. Please make sure to check their folder and empty it out each night!
If student has a dismissal change you MUST notify the office. Send in a note with child to school if you know beforehand. If it happens during the day, you can notify me, but you must also let the office know.
