Ms. Cheryl Stephani - Math Specialist

I love teaching math, and I love to get the kids excited about math!  While I am no "math expert," I am passionate about how math is taught!  It seems by 4th grade kids either say, "I love math," or "I hate math."  I believe everyone can at least "like" math!  

My professional title may be Math Specialist, but my personal title is "Grandma!"  I have three daughters and three granddaughters, who inspired me to write a picture book, "Big Cat, Little Fox."  My husband and I live in Brooklyn Park, and enjoy our empty nest! Before "Grandma"... I was born in Charlotte, NC, and moved around a lot as a child.  My brother, sister and I were fortunate to experience God's great world through my father's work travels. What a gift to see beauty in so many different people, languages and countries!  We moved to Minnesota (back to my parents' roots) as teenagers, and none of us have ever left since!  I guess my husband's words are true ~ MN is God's Country!

After many years in the public schools, I have come back to my Catholic roots when I started teaching here at StMCS!  I am enjoying my professional and spiritual learning here at StMCS!
