Hello. I consider it a joy and a privilege to teach at St. Maximilian Kolbe School. I came to teaching through a career in advertising, then as a free lance artist while raising my children and teaching art in their school. As a member of the National Art Education Association and the Pennsylvania Art Education Association, I attended many conventions, gave presentations and continue to enjoy the collaboration of my fellow art teachers. I was also on the Archdiocesan Art Committee for over ten years. We wrote guidelines and conducted workshops for the benefit of all Archdiocesan Art Teachers.

I am a working artist, with a variety of subjects and mediums, and clients from all over the country. I was recently honored by being inducted into the Chester County Hall of Fame for Catholic Education. This affirmed the importance the fine arts play in the education of a child.

In addition to teaching art, I team up with our music teacher to co-direct the spring musicals, create scenery and aid in costume construction and ideas. This is a great opportunity for our students to get involved in a major production, work as a group, experience speaking in front of a crowd and building confidence. We also have an annual Christmas play which I have written and directed for the last seven years.

At St. Max, I also act as the marketing director, helping to streamline the admissions process and promote our school throughout our parish and community at large.
