My two personal chain reaction gurus are OK Go and Havesh5 .
OK Go's This Too Shall Pass is the ultimate Rube Goldberg machine (done in a single take!). Many of their videos riff on the concept of chain reactions (great to watch as a family) and they even have a Sandbox to apply the concepts used in their videos (plenty of ideas to keep you busy all summer making your own instruments, doing slo-mo videos, and creating optical illusions.
Havash5 is a" domino artist" who creates fantastic chain reactions - you can spend hours watching her creations with tens of thousands of dominoes. Her work is a great demonstration of careful planning, learning from failure and perseverance.
