Charles law represents the idea of how the change in temperature will affect the change in volume of a gas.
V1/T1 = V2/T2 represents the formula that the temperature (in kelvin) of a gas is directly proportional to the volume that gas occupies.
In other words as the temperature of a gas increases the volume of that gas will increase with it, and as the temperature of that gas decreases the volume of the gas will decrease with it as well.
