ACT/SAT
COLLEGE PREP
If you plan to apply to a 4 year university, you should take an SAT and/or ACT test no later than Spring of your Junior year. If you wait until Senior year to test, you will not only limit your retest opportunities, but you could endanger your admission to your prospective university (due to a failure to provide your SAT/ACT scores by the admissions deadline).
Which test is right for you?
The Princeton Review has researched the differences between the SAT & ACT to help you determine which test is the right fit for you.
Many students like to take both the SAT & ACT, just to see who they will perform on each. However, it is not absolutely necessary. Most colleges accept either test, but it is always a good idea to double-check the Admissions page (for first time freshmen) at the website of your prospective university.
