This has been a busy summer of moving, weddings, and preparing for the upcoming school year, but my excitement for September is through the roof! I am so thrilled to be back in the classroom with my smiling students. They truly make my days brighter and motivate me to strive for my own personal success. I have had the opportunity last year to get to know them personally and academically, so with that I know we will be able to jump into this school year strongly. We will dive into curriculum right away, as we have some catch up to do from last year. Now that your child is a 6th grader I will hold them to an even higher standard. I know they are brilliant, creative and motivated students, so I will push them even harder this year to strive for growth and success. Some things will look the same as last year, and some may look different. I appreciate your understanding, flexibility and patience as I learn from myself, the students, and our current situations on what our best practices will look like. Please know that we have many procedure changes around the classroom and the school. We are doing these to remain safe and stay in school for as long as safely possible. Our decisions are influenced from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control. I am looking forward to an awesome year with this great group of students and amazing school! As always, do not hesitate to contact me.
