Kriti mam has been an exceptional mentor during my second year of B.Com in Advertising, particularly in Media Management and Media Research. Her teaching style is truly remarkable; she effortlessly explains complex concepts, provides comprehensive notes, and ensures all necessary resources are readily available. Her classes are engaging and interactive, filled with innovative teaching methods and activities that keep us eagerly awaiting each session.
Thanks to her guidance, I achieved outstanding grades in both subjects, an A+ in one and an O in the other. Beyond academics, Kriti has had a profound impact on me personally. Her mentorship has transformed me from a once-rude individual to someone who approaches situations with patience and understanding. I am truly grateful for her dedication and excellence."

My journey intertwined with Kirti ma'am began long in this college. Initially, I mistook her for a fellow student. The first thing that I noticed in her is her impeccable sense of style. Despite my background not aligning with finance or BBA, she effortlessly connected with me, comprehending every thought I conveyed. College life flourished with her maternal presence, from shared laughter to playful banter. She transcends the role of a mere faculty member into a friend in my life; she's become a cherished figure I'll dearly miss in the days to come after my campus life....!!
keep smiling and cheerful

Mentoring for me wasn't just an ordinary session but a session where I got to learn many things other than academic. Kirti ma'am was the fantastic mentor who was there for me from initial stage to the end. Whenever I required any suggestions she was the only one to whom I never hesitated to approach. Be it mental support, emotional, personal or study related kirti ma'am was there at every point. After joining mentoring group, the group eventually became a family where we used to laugh, sing, dance, act, discuss and most important we end up creating memories. I whole heartedly thanks kirti ma'am for the support that she bestowed on all of us. Thank you once again.
Diksha Sharma, B.Com Gen, (Best Outgoing Student) 2019-2022
Indeed kirti ma'am has been a fantastic mentor and a terrific teacher to us. She always had a optimistic heart. Kirti Ma'am famous advice is 'Be truthful with yourself then only something will work for your benefit'. Sometimes when we needed a friend to listen to our problems and difficulties more than a mentor and kirti ma'am has been both in my life. Kirti Ma'am is a lovely and fun person to be around, she always is ready to help us in any way she can and lastly we enjoy spending time with her during the meetings and sessions she conducts.

It has been a wonderful journey throughout my life at St.Marys because I got a chance to mentor few students who invested their time in me. I am very happy that I could mentor 7 new students in the year 19-20. I am happy that I could help them in their difficult times and make them understand things that were better for them. I mentored students from different disciplines and years. The experience has been great after knowing each of them so well. I can say I have tried my best in helping them when they needed me;most of the mentoring sessions would happen below the tree on the ground or in the corridors of the fourth floor and sometimes even in the cafeteria. I still remember Hussain (B.Com II A) and Diksha Sharma (B.Com I B) Taking up the discussions with the rest when I had work or I was late for the class. We are all more like a family now. Since lockdown I had been mentoring them on WA and over phone calls.
9th January 20 – We discussed regarding teenage relationships. We asked each of our member about their experience and if they’re facing any conflict being in any kind of relationship. We passed on relationship advices whether it be parent-children relation, friendship relation and student-teacher relation. Moreover, it was an open discussion with the students and everyone enjoyed it.
Attendees – Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Privesh, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti and Sheelam,Nithya.
12th January 20– We discussed about “travelling for the sake of studies”. Each and every student has a story of how they wake up and travel all the way to the college for the pursuance of knowledge. So we heard from everybody and told them the virtues of learning and working hard for knowledge.
Attendees - Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Privesh, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti, Baber, Nithya,Sheelam and Gitesh.
23rd January 20 – Discussion regarding time management. As managing time is an essential skill to accomplish anything in life, we discussed step by step and practical methods to manage time. We also heard individually from students about how they face hurdles and how they can overcome them.
Attendees - Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Privesh, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti, Sheelam and Gitesh.
4th February 20 – We discussed on how to increase our concentration on studies. Students, sometimes, are unable to concentrate on their studies especially during the days of their exams. Thus, we discussed on how a student can focus more on their studies and understand their notes better whilst taking help from their teachers.
Attendees - Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Privesh, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti, Sheelam and Gitesh.
14th February 20 – We discussed about insecurities and how to overcome them. We asked each student about their insecurities and explained them various ways to cope up with them. Students were satisfied and learned to deal with their insecurities.
Attendees - Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Privesh, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti,Nithay,Baber Sheelam and Gitesh.
25th February 20– We discussed the role of happiness and how important it is for a successful life. We explained the students how we should look for happiness in everything we do. And asked them the things that make them happy.
Attendees - Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Baber Nithya, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti, Sheelam and Gitesh.
3rd March 20– We conducted an activity where we sang songs and got to know each other better and tried to wide off our performance insecurities. As a result, silent and introverted students also took part and enjoyed.
Attendees - Hussain Khan, Nirmal, Privesh, Aditi, Diksha, Jyoti, Sheelam and Gitesh.

Some of my mentees experiences about the mentoring sessions we had are as follows:-
So, here's my appreciation letter for a teacher to whom I really admire a lot. You have been a constant supporter and a bestest mentor.
I am really lucky to have been given the chance to attend your mentoring session. Indeed a hearty thanks for your great initiative.
To be honest, all of your sessions were really helpful and were mind blowing. Your teaching has taught us how to fight for our rights, how to be a strong independent woman, how to ignore useless stuff and a lot more.
Well just thanking is not enough for the effort that you have been bestowed on me but I definitely look forward to never disappoint you and will try my best to make you proud.
Once again thank you ma'am.

I feel bliss to be a part of this club. At first to be frank I don't know that a club called Mentoring club exists. It's Kirti mam who introduced me to the club. More than a club its a family. Caring, affection, love and understanding can be experienced in this club. Kirti mam is so sweet and student friendly I've never seen. She is also so caring about her pupils. Mentoring club basically enables the member to be open minded. I believe open mined people are the real heroes. So real heroes are sculptured in this club. No words to talk about this club. But some times we make mam to feel sad. But she never made us to write the spelling of sad. The main motto of the club I understood is share your sadness and we will give you blisness. Mentoring club also teaches the important aspects of life that is to respond and react. At the end of the day all of us pack all the emotions in our head. This club opens the box and gives us the best emotions of the life. Some times we feel lonely. We feel as if no one is there to care us. But the Mentoring club member never experiences such a weird feeling because Mentoring club always ensures that there is a back up behind us. Not only the club members but any pupil who approaches Kirti mam. Nepotism, Attention seeking disorders and some of the other psychological disorders can easily be cured easily by the Mentoring club. And we are so blessed to be in the Mentoring club and divinely blessed to be the pupils of Kirti mam. And the club members are so friendly and caring. I get every solution to my problem when share with my club. Its not only a club but a bliss family. Thank you all for accepting me as one of your family member and thank you mam for making a family member in this beautiful bliss family.

In my college one of the thing I like is mentoring group their r a wonderful experiences to me by this group. Their r many people who goes into depression ,the reason is the people can't share their feelings out .whenever we don't share our feelings to someone it will take us to make a bad decisions in our life with that we hurt the people who r our surrounding to us. But in this group students who wants to share their feelings can share without any fear. In our life a person should me their to understand us, support us. from my childhood I used to express all my feelings to my parents, siblings and friends but when I join with u people I started expressing my feelings to u people which I can't share with those people. This always leads me up in my life and helps me to move on in my life with a peaceful smile from the bottom of my heart. Their is only one life for us we learn many things in our life. I suggest all my friends to be part of this group.

I Jyoti student of mentoring session is very glad to pen down something about my mentoring classes. The class was very useful and interesting, it helped me in many ways. I was very lucky to have those mentoring classes because many students don't have privilege to attend this type of session and they long to have it.
This session helped me to come out from so many problems which I was going through. Nowadays we are able to hear that many youngsters are committing suicide due to depression and some mental illness because they don't have anybody to share their problems. I am most privileged to have this type of session in my life.
I just want to conclude by saying thanks to Miss Kirti who helped me in many ways. I am very lucky to have u mam. At last I want to thank all my friends who shared their problems and by their problems I could learn to face all those challenges which are coming ahead. I would like to join this session once again if I get an opportunity.

As per selection of criterion/ Category 'TEACHER-MENTOR'I would like to give all the details of number of sessions I conducted. I started with looking for students who would be my mentees in the II E ADVT class, where I am the class mentor. As per the meeting between Principal & Teacher-Mentor category, I was told to invest time in students who would really know the importance of time.
Following are the details of students and sessions I had in last 2 months.
Sessions 1 - DATE - 7/2/19 Was about knowing their family & personal life, where students spoke openly about their family & personal life. The mentor was very inspired to know about family background, hobbies of students ,likes and dislikes.
Session 2 -DATE 14/2/19 It was about heart stories & infatuations in past, mentees had spoken really well about their personal stories, they also understood difference between temporary attractions and love. They had been to counselling sessions to overcome their weakness in past.
Session 3 -DATE 6/3/19 It was about paranormal experiences and learning habits. Some of them did not believe and some had strong belief about it,In this session mentor came to know about their atmost fear and how they overcame that.Mentor had a close encounter with fears of mentee and she also discussed about her fears and weaknesses, she also helped mentees how she overcame her fears.
Session 4 - DATE 20/3/19 It was about happiness in life.Where all the mentees prepared assignment on the topic 'happiness is the key to good life'
Session 5 -DATE 1/4/19 Last session today was about the changes mentees have seen in them. I am proud to say that i have seen changes in my mentees.
Details of Mentees-

There has been a good change in his attitude,he has started becoming regular and attentive in the classes. He has started taking interest in his studies and also interest in interacting. The mentee has been taking interest in dinning with family, spending time with father and taking care of his pet dog 'TYSON'

He started gaining self confidence in his work. His skills like communication, teamwork have improved a lot.He has started answering in the classes.
Rupesh Shendge ( 41)
His attendance has improved. He has started answering in class. The mentee is becoming serious towards responsibilities at home too.His confidence has increased.
The above information is based on experience of mentor.I enjoyed mentoring,i wish i do more for such needy students,I have tried to inspire, motivate and develop them mentally,It has helped me and them in conditioning ,communicating and knowing them more informally.I have known them properly than People who may not have understood them well.
