Dr.D.Padmaleela

Dr.Padmaleela has  over 17 years of experience in teaching graduate and under graduate students of Computer Science.

She holds a Ph.D in Computer Science and  Published Author of two Mumbai University Textbooks. Accomplished professor and previously,Head of Computer Science Department at SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce with fifteen years of teaching experience.

During these fiftenn years she has :

She is patient and approachable and believes in cultivating creative and critical thinking, and problem solving skills in students. She has been mentoring her students focusing on both their physical and emotional well-being leading them to build stronger relationships, succeed at college and work, and achieve their career and personal goals. 

During the last 15 years she has guided numerous students in their project work and helped them in building web sites using fullstack development. She guided students in creating mobile applications and IOT related projects.

She headed the Computer Science department of her employer for five years  and steered the college towards achieving a NACC A grade. She is a team player and has been part of many college committees like exam committee, Research committee, Unfair means committee, Grievances cell, National Service Scheme etc.

she has authored books on Web technologies for B.Sc(Computer Science ) and B.Sc(Information Technology) students of Mumbai University. She also co-authored study material for Distance education students of M.Sc(Information Technology) of Mumbai University.

Dr.Padmaleela  was invited as a resource person for subjects of Web Technologies and Wireless Sensor Networks. She was also the paper setter for Wireless Sensor Networks and Computer networks papers of  B.Sc(Computer Science ) of Mumbai University. 

She has 8 research publications to her credit.Dr.Padmaleela was the Convener and Co-Convener of Several National and International Conferences.
