In PSHE, we have been talking all about our families. We shared who are in our families and what we love about them. We then drew pictures of them and shared them with our friends. We spoke about how we treat our families and how much they mean to us. One child said, "The make my heart feel happy."
As a class we spoke about friendships. In partners, we made a pyramid of friendship values. We then had a discussion and made class friendship rules.
In PSHE, we focused on team work and the importance of working together! The children had to build a shape using paper straws and paperclips! The children had to cooperate, respect one another, listen and achieve a team goal! They did brilliantly-have a look below!
During PSHE we compared ourselves to animal 😄. The children thought about adjectives that describe themselves and what made them who they are. They then linked this to animal.
In PSHE, we learnt all about why sleep is important! The children learnt about how our bodies repair when we sleep, how we grow, how we process what we've learnt and how it gives us energy and recharges our bodies and brains! We also spoke about how important our bedtime routine can be to help us sleep like washing, brushing our hair and teeth, sharing our worries and having a story. We played charades with our partners to guess what part of the bedtime routine we were doing!
In PSHE, we had such a fun! We learnt about why it is so important to relax and laugh! We found out how it relaxes our muscles, boosts our immune system, makes us feel good, protects your heart and makes you live longer! We spent time trying to make our friends laugh and did a meditation session! Have a look below:
We have learnt all about how to look after our pets today. We had to think about the importance of keeping them clean, fed and healthy. We also thought about the exercise we give them, where they live-indoor or outdoors or any special equipment they might need. We even played vets!
Money, money, money!
We have been learning about what we use money for, how we earn it, where we keep it safe and also the value of coins and notes.
