Vedic Fire Altar Rectangle Diagonal
This source explains how Indian scholars constructed their version of the Pythagorean Theorem. It includes recreations of the diagrams from the Śulbasūtras that show the depths of their mathematical knowledge, as well as a modern mathematical formalization of what they constructed at the time.
