About the Teacher

Hello! My name is Danielle Bastian and I'm so excited to be the Art teacher at SMM this year!  I have been the library teacher for the past 4 years but last year, had to take a leave of absense for medical reasons.  When our amazing principal, Mrs Bauer asked me if I wanted to switch over to Art this year upon my return, I enthusiastically said Yes! I was an art major in college and have always been creative.  Im looking forward to having fun with my students creating masterpieces all year!  Don't be surprised if we bring in some of my favorite books too!

My husband Charles and I have been members of St Mary Magdalen parish for 22 years.  We are parents of 3 great children who have all graduated from SMM and who all agree that their years at SMM were "the good old days!".  We also have two basset hound puppies that I am head over heals about...Rocky & Chuck!
