My name is Erica Braunlinger, and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade ELA and Science this year.
I have been teaching at Saint Mary Magdalen for a few years now. Before my time at Saint Mary Magdalen, I taught fifth grade at AIM Academy. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Saint Joseph’s University and my Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Reading Interventionist Concentration. This allowed me to become certified in Wilson Reading Systems. I have the privilege of being on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's ELA Curriculum Committee and being recognized as a 30 Under 30 with the International Literacy Association.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time down the shore in Ocean City, New Jersey, with my family. Also, I love to go to concerts, attend Philly sports games, and spend time with my friends. My other interests include traveling, Disney, reading, and going on walks with my mini-labradoodle named Polly. This summer, I have been planning my 2026 wedding with my fiancé Connor.
I look forward to watching you all learn, grow, and have a fantastic time in fourth grade!
