Hello! I am super excited to begin my seventh year at St. Mary Magdalen I attended St. Anastasia's for grade school and went to Cardinal O'Hara for high school. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Neumann College. After getting my Master's in reading from West Chester University, I went back to Neumann and got an Autism Endorsement certificate. I began my career at St. Joseph's in Aston for three years teaching Kindergarten for two, and second grade for one. I then continued teaching second grade at Pope John Paul II School in West Brandywine for 13 years. In 2012, I was the recipient of the Chester County Citadel Heart of Learning award for Nonpublic Schools. I am so happy to be teaching second and preparing your children as they grow closer to Jesus through the sacraments this year.
My husband, Ryan and I, are parents to Maeve, who is in First Grade. We also have a year old puppy named Bngo. In my spare time, l like to read, do puzzles, and travel. I love watching Philly sports!
My mission for the class is to have each student recognize and use their God given talents, promote a positive learning environment, always try their best and succeed. It's not how smart you are, it's how you are smart.
