Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! We had a great first week back to school! They were so happy and excited to see their friends again. We are slowly adjusting back to our daily routines and activities. They were exhausted, haha!
We also started a new month, year, color, and letter this week. This week…. introduced the letter G, number 3, the color blue, and the rectangular shape. We had a lot of fun learning about the letter G on Starfall and singing our blue song. We discussed our winter-themed unit by reading books, learning songs and dances, and making crafts about winter. Children painted gloves for G week and decorated them with pretty decorations, hats, and snowmen. These crafts will go in our hallway as decorations to complete our “Thank you God for warm clothes” theme.
We wrapped up the week with much-needed outside time!!! Overall, it has been a positive and exciting start to the New Year!
