Wow- What a boo-tiful week we’ve had! The Halloween excitement is in the air!!! We had a fun week and are getting ready for Halloween with lots of spooky and creative activities. The children made Halloween crafts and are getting into the Halloween spirit! We are getting super excited to Trick-or-Treat.
We had a truly spooktacular time at our Halloween parade and party. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success- their costumes were so cute and full of Halloween spirit!!!
We read “The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin” and discussed how some pumpkins may look different, and come in all shapes and sizes, but we love them all the same.
Outside, we had a blast playing with a parachute and went on a treasure hunt using magnifying glasses to find hidden treasure. We really enjoyed the crisp fall weather this week.
Alphabet Time: We introduced the letter A!! The children practiced recognizing the letter, its sound, and words that begin with A, such as apple, alligator, ant, and acorn.
Religion: All Saints' Day - We learned about All Saints' Day and discussed how we can be kind and follow the good examples of the Saints in our everyday lives.
