About the teacher

My name is X-Hail Griswold, and I am excited to be starting my third year here at St. Mary Magdalen School. For the last 31 years, I have taught and worked in various educational settings, from early elementary-aged students to seniors in high school. 

My husband Mark and I have been married for 27 years and have four children. Two of them have graduated from college, one is in college, and our youngest is a senior in high school this year. I enjoy spending time with them, watching Philly sports, and reading in my spare time.

I believe the classroom is a place to inspire a lifelong thirst for knowledge. We are never finished with our education; it is a lifetime pursuit. I want my students to leave my classroom knowing they are uniquely created by God and are irreplaceable, indispensable, and unrepeatable. I'm looking forward to a great year!
