Meet

Mrs. Jennifer Dixon

Hello! I am Jennifer Dixon. I have been teaching since 1997. I graduated from Cabrini with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I then taught at St.Thomas-Good Counsel in Bryn Mawr and loved it! I left to go to the public school, but ended back teaching at Catholic schools, where my heart belongs. I taught at St. Charles Borromeo in Drexel Hill and St. Denis in Havertown. After having my children, I decided to stay home with my children and because my one son needed some medical attention. I loved the years I stayed home with my four children, but my cousin called one day and asked me if I was interested in teaching again. Two days later, I was a teacher at Blessed Virgin Mary in Darby. I taught there for four years and loved every minute of it. I was so happy to be back teaching, where I belonged. BVM was a different type of school than I was used to, but these children made me happy and I loved helping them and being there for them. I was lucky enough to be given a chance to teach at St. Mary Magdalen a few years ago and it was a wonderful move! SMM is a fabulous school and the children are amazing. I am so blessed to be a part of the super school community.

I grew up in Bryn Mawr and went to Our Mother of Good Counsel, Archbishop Carroll and Cabrini College. My mom still lives in the same house and brothers and I still live in Haverford township with our families. I have a daughter who is 20 and a son who is 18, and twins sons who are 16. We enjoy going to the beach, sporting events and playing with our dog, Nova.
