Safeguarding Steps

Parents, please remember that in order to come into school and volunteer you must complete Safeguarding all God's Children. This is according to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Below are the steps that you must take in order to become compliant.

1. Go to the Safeguarding page on the Arch website (http://www.archmil.org/offices/safeguarding.htm), click on where it says "Register Here" and create an account - please keep a note of your user name and password so you could log back in if necessary.

2, Enter your personal information.

3. Give consent for a background check to be processed.

4. Do a short online training for the Code of Ethical standards and Mandatory Reporting Responsibilities (please make sure it says you have completed this)

5. Sign up for a Safeguarding training class.

6. Email Chris Kinzy to let her know you have completed the steps online so that she can process your background check - ckinzy@stmaryeg.org

7. Once you have completed your Safeguarding training and your background check comes through clear (should give this at least a week), you will be able to volunteer.
