Michael Falk has been teaching junior high math at SMV since 2010. His degrees are in meteorology (Bachelor of Science, 2001 and Master of Science, 2004) from Iowa State University, and his teaching certification is from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (2009). He teaches the 7-33 homeroom. He also coaches quiz bowl (October-April) and Math Olympiads (November-March).
I teach World Geography, World History and U.S. History to grades 6-8. I arrived at St. Mary's Visitation two years ago after teaching mostly on the high school level since 1998. I have over 30 years experience in education and two Masters Degrees, one in History and one in Educational Leadership. I am a lifelong Catholic and have a large family.
I am an alumni of St. Mary's Visitation, class of 2017. I studied education at the University of Dallas in Irving, TX and this is my second year teaching ELA at St. Mary's. I look forward to introducing great texts to your child this school year.
Kurt Keidl, OFS is a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. This is his first year teaching Junior High Theology at St. Mary’s Visitation, but is his 37th year teaching Theology on both the high school and middle school levels. He earned his BA in Theology, History, Religious Education, and Secondary Education from Marquette University, and his MA in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology. He is licensed by the State of Wisconsin to teach Religious Studies and History to middle and high school students. In 2022, he was inducted into the Milwaukee Archdiocesan Order of Catechists by Archbishop Listecki. He is eager to share the richness of our Catholic faith with his students.
