Religion - Ch. 19 "We Belong to the Kingdom" - define the Communion of Saints as the union of saints in heaven, the souls in purgatory, and the Church on earth, and how the members of the Communion of Saints help one another

Reading/Language Arts - Unit 4 The Ancient Roman Civilization - Students will analyze Julius Caesar as a leader. Students will summarize key contributions and events in the life of Augustus Caesar. Students will identify missing events in a timeline of Julius and Augustus Caesar's lives. Using a graphic organizer, students will identify factors that led to the decline of the Roman Empire.
Spelling - The spelling packet is due on Wednesday, June 4th - Our last Spelling Test is on Thursday, June 5th!
Math - Ch. 13 "Fraction Equivalence and Comparison" - find equivalent fractions that name the same part of the whole, use number lines to represent equivalent fractions, and compare fractions that have the same denominator by comparing their numerators
Science - Unit 6 - Fossils - Mystery Science activity: How Do We Know What Dinosaurs Looked Like? Students will learn how we can infer what the outside of an animal looked like by using clues about their skeleton. Students will examine photos of skulls of both familiar animals and dinosaurs to figure out what each animal eats.
Social Studies - Students will continue to learn about early explorers and the French, English, and Spanish communities who immigrated to America.
