Welcome to St. Mary.  

This is my 26th year here at Saint Mary.  For the last 25 years I have taught full day Kindergarten.  The previous year I started the 4-year old Preschool and taught the 1/2 day Kindergarten.

I attended Saint Mary's (1st - 8th grade) and was very excited to return as a teacher for the start of the  2000-01 school year. I graduated from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where I received my degree in Elementary Education with Reading and Language Arts as my emphasis.  

In May 2009, I received my masters in Teaching and Leadership through Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. 

In December 2010, I got married at Saint Mary Church to my husband (who is a former Saint Mary teacher and current Saint Anne's teacher) with our former and current students in attendance.

We have two children. Our son is 12 and will be attending Saint Mary School's Seventh Grade this year. Our daughter is 10 and will be attending Saint Mary School's Fifth Grade this year.

My mission is to help develop loving and caring children with strong Catholic beliefs.  We will develop a foundation for reading, math, science, and social studies skills that they will build upon each year they are in school.

I am very excited to be at Saint Mary School and look forward to an exciting and blessed year.
