About Ms. Garcia

I am thrilled to be teaching Pre-K for my sixth year at St. Mary's.  This is my eighth year here, and I truly enjoy being a Bison!  I was born and raised in Arlington Heights and have 3 wonderful sons (aged 18, 24, and 25). I received my Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University in Elementary Education, and my Master's Degree from National-Louis University in Curriculum & Instruction. There, my focus was on English Language Learners.  I have taught every age in some capacity from pre-school through eighth grade.

I look forward to getting to know your children very well, and I hope to instill in them a love of learning that will grow throughout their educational career.
