Welcome to my classroom. I'm so happy you are here. This is my 21st year teaching in a Catholic school, and my second year here at St. Mary of the Lake. I am so excited to be here again working with my students.

In my classroom I see children who need extra support while being in a small group environment. I give them extra time so that they fully understand what is expected of them. We are always busy whether it's reading, writing or exploring the information in a different way. Whatever it takes to help a student at St. Mary of the Lake to succeed.

Hi! My name is Tigist Regassa. I'm excited to be your child's Title 1 teacher and make this the best school year yet! This is my second year of teaching. I graduated from Knox College with a BA in Primary Education. I'm excited to be at St.Mary and to have another amazing year with all of my students.

In Title I see students who need the extra aid in small group settings. Small group instruction enables me to differentiate instruction to meet each student’s needs, better match instruction to each student’s level, and respond to children’s reading more effectively.
