3rd Grade

For the Oreo Project we stacked Oreos. We wrote on a piece of paper our prediction and after we finished we wrote our first try and then our second try. I really liked doing the Oreo Project. I liked doing it because I liked stacking the Oreos and counting how much the other person stacked. When we were done we graphed our results as a class. Then we filled in a graph about how much we predicted and how much we stacked on our best try in Google Slides.

I created a world using code. I used code to tell my character what to do and when to do it. I had to go through 14 levels and on the last level I got to create my own world. If you want to check out what I created then click on the picture.

I created my game in Scratch. I had to make a game using code. I had to make the characters move by using code to tell them how to do it. I liked it because it is fun to code. I also like it because it is fun to experiment with the sprites sometimes and it is fun to see the results once you are done. My favorite part was programming the characters. I liked programming the characters because it is fun to experiment with the code. I also like it because it is nice to learn how to code and I enjoy coding. Scratch Maze

I made my maze in Scratch. To create my maze I had to program the characters so when they touch the wall it will send them back to the beginning. I also had to add a goal so when you reach it it will tell you something like you won. I had to add a sprite to go through the maze. I liked creating the maze because I like making complex mazes. I also liked it because I like to program. I think it is nice to see what you have done so far. I liked seeing the results too. If you want to try my maze just click the picture below.
