We had a 1.69 ounce bag of M&M's and we had to take them out and count however many there were for each color. We had to make several charts with all the M&M's we counted in the bag. We also made a bar graph to put the percentage of my M&M's and the classes M&M's. I thought I was going to get 12 red, 17 yellow, 13 orange, 15 green, 18 brown, and 5 blue, but my real estimate was that I had 5 red, 7 green's and yellow's, 15 orange, 10 brown, and 12 blue. So I wasn't close to my real count. I think Cleveland manufactured my M&M bag because it's proportion was the closest to mine. The other one wasn't close to mine. My thoughts of this assignment is that is wasn't that hard because all we had to do is count M&M's and make a chart about it. My M&M bag had 56 M&M's in total. So i think there will be about 50-60 M&Ms in a 1.69 ounce bag. I liked this assignment because after we counted the M&M's, we got to eat them. My favorite flavor of M&M is the dark chocolate. I used Google Sheet for this assignment so we could put the graphs and make our count.
