Rudy's Candy Counting

For this assignment I counted M&M candy. First we had to do an estimate of how many candies we think we would get. We wrote it down on a piece of paper, then we got a bag of M&Ms and counted them up. We made a Google sheet and we made a class graph with our counts of M&Ms. On the Google sheet we had to write how many the class had all together of each M&M. Then we made a percentage, mean, and median for the class. We had to use formulas to do that. We typed our actual scores on the charts instead of our estimates. After we made a pie chart and a graph about our own percentage and the classes. We made a chart about the classes average and our own average. I think that my M&Ms were manufactured at Cleveland because my percentages were close to the percentages of the Cleveland factory. These are the percentages of the Cleveland factory Cleveland, TN: 20.7% Blue, 20.5% Orange, 19.8% Green, 13.5% Bright Yellow, 13.1% Red, 12.4% Brown. These are my percentages 22% Blue,12.3% Brown, 24.6% Green, 24.6% Orange, 14.0% Yellow. When I was doing this assignment the most difficult part was adding the percentages. It was difficult because I didn't know how to put the formula correctly. I got help and then I understood it. In each bag of M&Ms I think the least color would be brown because it has the least percentage. The most color would be blue. I think that this assignment was hard because there were too many formulas and I would get confused. When I get a bag of M&Ms I always like to eat the milk chocolate kind.
