Tudno Jones 

Aircraftman 2nd class Tudno Jones, Service number: 624943, served in the Royal Air Force. He was killed on 12th May, 1940, aged 20. N1366 bomber (the aircraft Jones was in) was the first RAF bomber to crash inside Germany while carrying out a bambing operation on a target inside mainland Germany. He is buried in Reichswald Forest War cemetery. He was the son of william and myfanwy jones, nephew of Mrs . A. J. Rees, and lived in Trethomas, Monmouthshire.

Jones was part of a bombing raid on Mönchengladbach, Germany. This was in retaliation for the German invasion of Belgium. His plane was shot down and 4 of the 5 occupants were killed. The only survivor was taken prisoner.
