Maurice Crowe
Maurice Crowe, service number 2334411, was a Lance Corporal in the Royal Corps of Signals. He died on the sixteenth of September, 1945, at age 28. He is buried here, in St Martins Church, just outside of the school.Â
Lance Corporal Walter Maurice Crowe is buried at St Martin's Churchyard in Caerphilly. Each year on Remembrance Day, students from the school go down to the Churchyard to pay their respects to Lance Corporal Crowe, Craftsman Wyndham Williams, and all of those who lost their lives in the war on behalf of St Martin's School.
