Flying Officer Douglas Nicol, Service number: 147709, served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He died on 4th of July, 1944, aged 32. He is buried in Caerphilly Penyrheol Cemetery. He was the son of Daniel Walter and Clara Nicol.
