ABOUT MS. SHURTLEFF:
B. A. in Academic Studies
Sam Houston State University, 1991
Minor: English
Philosophy : An ideal education considers all aspects of the individual: academic/intellectual, social, spiritual, and physical. While we all possess varying gifts, talents, and strengths, when we work together, we are much more capable of doing good in society. It is my goal, as an English teacher, to make students aware of their unique gifts and to assist them in presenting their thoughts (orally and written) in a way that demonstrates their intelligence and displays their credibility.
