Homework:
Spelling homework will be sent home on Friday, to be turned in by the following Friday.
Tests:
I will give a practice test the week before so that students know which words they need to practice.
I will call out the word, say it in a sentence, and repeat the word. Students will spell the word on their paper.
Breaking the word apart can really help with spelling: I also like to underline the focus of the week. Which is words that make blends.
